What is the Silhouette Face and Neck Lift?

The Silhouette Lift is a non-surgical Facelift and/or Necklift can take years off your appearance! The result is a fresh, taut face and/or neck, and a much more youthful appearance. Regardless of your gender, it’s absolutely normal to want to age gracefully and look youthful. However, we all know that it can become challenging after 40 when dealing with our everyday stresses!

Silhouette Lift is a technique developed for use with Silhouette Sutures, a suspension thread. This minimally invasive technique is used to lift and reposition sagging mid-facial tissues. The Silhouette Sutures offer a significantly greater lift due to their unique absorbable cones, which give strong traction when lifting soft tissue. The sutures are attached to the temporal fascia. To achieve this, a small incision is made above the hairline, where the sutures are anchored.

How does it work?

The tiny nylon threads have minute barbs cut into them by laser. When the threads are passed through the fat pads, they are “locked” up, or in other words lifted, by hundreds of these tiny barbs.

Can I develop a reaction to the nylon threads?

While anyone can react to anything, it is highly unlikely that you will react to the threads. The thread’s material is known as Proline, which is the exact same material that we have been sewing you up with for the past 40 years. It has been used routinely in surgery worldwide for decades without any problems.

Does the Silhouette Lift require general anesthetic or hospitalization?

The Silhouette Lift is performed under local anesthetic in the practice of your surgeon without the need of hospitalization.

How long does the procedure take?

We ask all our patients to take Arnica Montana and Kiwi fruit for one week prior to the procedure and one week afterwards. This minimizes bruising to the point that in two weeks almost all the bruising is gone. Please be sure you do not take any aspirin or blood thinners for one week prior to the procedure.

What is the cost of the Silhouette Lift compared to standard Surgical Facelift?

What is a Subcutaneous Brow Lift?

Everybody is different, and everybody ages differently at their own pace. Aside from age, factors like gravity, sun exposure, and daily stress affect us all. You can erase years from your appearance, maintain a natural look, and age more gracefully when you are a candidate for a Brow Lift.

One of the most elegant ways to address facial aging is to elevate the brows. Frequently, many patients experience laxity of the brow that results in a tired, sad, and/or angry appearance. Incisions of less than one inch are made in the hairline directly above the brows and the brow is then re-suspended in a minimally-invasive fashion. The excessive skin that has caused all the drooping is removed and sewn closed. The scar is essentially invisible three months afterwards and the results are long lasting. It requires only local anesthesia and can be done on an outpatient basis.

The Subcutaneous Brow Lift is not a “one-size-fits-all” procedure. Each procedure is customized and tailored specific to the patient and their desired goals. The benefits of the Subcutaneous Brow Lift can smooth away facial creases, lift the brows, and open up the eyes giving you a more youthful appearance.

Permanent tensor threads will give you the results and the durability you want without needing to undergo a complete surgical Facelift! Our Anti-Gravity Face and/or Neck Lift offers to shave years away regardless of your gender!

The Anti-Gravity Lift is a fairly new technique that was developed in Europe. This minimally invasive technique is used to lift and reposition sagging mid-face tissue. It offers a significantly greater and more permanent lift due to the unique tensor threads which give strong traction when lifting the soft tissue. The tensor threads are placed under the skin in a vertical axis, the axis that the tissues were following at their origin, in the youth of the face. This is what will give the patient a young appearance. The Anti-Gravity lift technique allows to complete the face lifting by acting on the lower part of the oval of the face. The neck Anti-Gravity can be added to the procedure and will allow to complete the look of a firmer and more youthful appearance. The neck zone, if left without treatments, will completely give away your age as well! Previous generations of threads were not efficient enough. Now, the new generation of anti-gravity threads allow to obtain a result that will please the patient first and doctor as well.

Why an Anti-Gravity Face and/or Neck Lift?

Because the face undergoes a moderate loss of certain fatty tissues; these tissues keep the face more plumped and youthful. All the way up to 80 years old, we can observe a slight volume loss of the total fat, deep and superficial fat, under the skin. The falling-down of the oval shape of the face, the slight drop of the checks, the appearance of the double chin, and deeper wrinkles at the nasolabial groove and the side of the mouth.

What are the benefits of an Anti-Gravity Lift?

The Anti-Gravity Lift is effective for people that want to age gracefully or to simply put it, to achieve a younger look that will last up to 10 years! The look of “heavy” jowls is smoothed out, and the oval shape of the face is tighter. The nasolabial groove is nicely blurred, and the cheekbones naturally find their original position without enlarging the face. This lifting technique allows to reposition the eye brows that have drooped/dropped with the years. The Lift allows to open the look of the eyes. The lifting of the face will have a very slight impact of providing a small lift on the neck. It is possible to go further and treat the neck by positioning 2 to 4 permanent threads around the neck.

Quick rundown…

  • The tensor threads are invisible and will not be detected under the skin

  • Absence of bumps under the skin

  • Absence of scars

  • Quick intervention (3 hours)

  • No hospitalization required

  • Swelling and bruising will disappear in about 2 to 3 weeks
